Admittedly, calling this a playground might be a stretch — but since it offers a moment to rest and play, it made the list. Follow Rosemary Avenue far enough and you will find a small woodland trail leading into William Souter Reserve (the kind our kids always dub a "secret path"). Tucked inside is a modest little spot — really just a single swing and a quiet place to take a breather. It may not offer much, but for the right person on the right day, it could be a genuine hidden gem. Street parking is available nearby on Rosemary Avenue.
