A practical local playground with a tennis bonus
Situated within Bond Reserve in Forrest Hill, just off State Highway 1, this is a solid mid-sized playground that does exactly what many families need. The standout bonus is location: it sits right next to Becroft Park Tennis Club, so it is easy to combine playground time with a casual hit of tennis in one stop.

Two play zones that actually help
One of the most useful things here is how the playground is split into two distinct areas. Older kids get taller, more challenging equipment, while younger children have a separate section that feels more manageable. It is a simple layout decision, but it makes a real difference when supervising siblings of different ages.
There is also a decent stretch of open grass beside the play area, which gives kids extra space to run around once they have had enough of the equipment.
The equipment itself covers the basics well: monkey bars, slides, and swings. It does look a little older and not especially recently upgraded, but on our visit it was clean enough and everything felt usable. We visited on a weekend and found it pleasantly quiet, with no crowd pressure or long waits.

Easy parking and a useful fallback option
Parking is genuinely stress-free. There is a large dedicated car park shared with the tennis club, so arriving by car is straightforward compared with many smaller reserve playgrounds.
We did not spot a water fountain or restrooms directly at the playground. Since the tennis facility is right next door, there is a reasonable chance facilities exist somewhere on site, so it is worth a quick look around if needed.
If the playground itself does not quite hold your kids' interest, the tennis club's practice wall nearby is a handy alternative activity to keep the outing going.
